REFLECTION 02 · Example & transformation

Bathed in a Gentle, Revitalizing Breeze

When a prophet’s lived faith loosens the knots within us

Having a living prophet is such a blessing.

On the airplane, during a period of emotional tension and withdrawal, reading President Nelson’s life produces an unexpected change. Shame at personal shortcomings does not tighten the inner knot; instead, the knot begins to loosen.

Scripture teaches through words. A prophet’s life makes principles visible through choices, relationships, responsibilities, difficulties, and growth across time.

The effect is not like sunlight flashing on water, but like warm golden light rising from the depths of a clear lake—until it can almost be felt as a gentle, revitalizing breeze.
